Method
The receipts come before the link.
reelpeel is built to answer one question fast: does the claim survive contact with the formulation, the evidence, and the gate? If it does, it can earn a winner slot. If it does not, SKIP IT lands clean.
T1 formulation analysis
The desk-rigor pass: INCI list, concentration clues, pH context, claim class, ingredient role, and the plain gap between what the bottle says and what the formula can reasonably support.
T2 evidence aggregation
The receipts pass: citation-shaped support, consensus signal, real-user patterning when it is useful, and the boring question marketing hates: is the proof strong enough for the price?
T3 firsthand test
The rare pass. Firsthand testing is reserved for hero cases where use experience can change the verdict. It is disclosed on-card because mystery does not build trust.
The invariant
- Evidence picks the winner before any monetized link attaches.
- Negative verdict still pays when the alternative earned it.
- A buy-nothing budget stays alive because sometimes the honest answer is keep your money.
- High-risk verdicts clear a human gate before any verified seal applies.
Why faceless works
No influencer face means there is no personality for a brand to rent. The trust object is the method: claim, receipts, verdict, disclosure. That is colder than a glow-up story and more useful than one.
